Three Koreans killed in car accident in Vietnam

Three South Koreans were killed when their van crashed into a dump truck on a Vietnamese highway, local police said Saturday.

The three people, including a 28-year-old with the family name Yoo, are employees of a Samsung Electronics contractor in Vietnam. Their names and genders are yet unknown.

They were driving on the expressway connecting the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi and the northeastern province of Thai Nguyen.

The South Korean Embassy here said it is looking into the exact cause of the accident with the local police.
