Soak yourself in tomatoes this summer.
Hwacheon-gun, in Gangwon Province, is hosting a tomato festival July 30 through Aug. 2.
The event, in its 13th this year, will offer a gold ring hunt as well as a tomato-eating contest.
Prizes for the hunt include 170 grams of gold rings and boxes of tomatoes.
The latter two days will feature a 1,000-person portion of spaghetti and bibimbap (rice mixed with vegetables).
Part of the entry fee will be handed back in the form of gift cards that people can use to buy regional produce at a discount.
"We hope people can come and taste local tomatoes and have a memorable experience at the festival," a Hwacheon-gun official said.
