Seoul subway and bus fares set to increase

Seoul subway and bus fares will go up in June, after it was approved by Seoul city council on Wednesday. Fares will increase by 200 won to 1,250 won on subway rides, while bus fares will climb 150 won to 1,200 won a journey. Transportation officials say that the raise in price will help go towards improving the network, along with helping to pay for further development of subway lines and stations.
