Man dies while paragliding

A 49-year-old man fell to his death under a bridge while paragliding in Namwon, North Jeolla Province, Sunday.
The Namwon Fire Station said the man was paragliding after jumping from the bridge at 10:45 a.m.
But his parachute became entangled and he immediately fell to the ground.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital but pronounced dead soon after.
The fire station said it will identify the exact cause of death by examining the parachute and other equipment, as well as questioning witnesses.
