Adult film at Chinese classroom draws criticism

The world’s first 3D pornographic film, which received widespread attention in Hong Kong and Taiwan, gained popularity in classrooms in mainland China, Hong Kong media said last Sunday.

A photo that shows female students at a middle school in China watching the adult film caused controversy, ifeng.com reported.

According to the report, the photo was first made public via Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, by a student attending a vocational school in Guangdong Province.

In the image, a large group of students in school uniforms are intently watching the film “Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy.”

The girl who first posted the photo said that during a short break on April 27, a fellow boy student quickly installed the downloaded movie onto the classroom TV.

Many students, however, said how was it possible for students to watch such an adult film in a classroom?

The schoolgirl soon deleted the photo from her account as controversy escalated, the report said.

'옥보단 인기' 교실까지? 여중생 시청 사진에 ‘경악'

최근 홍콩과 대만에서 흥행하고 있는 세계 최초의 3D 에로 영화 '옥보단 3D'이 교실까지 번지고 있다.

중국의 한 중학교 여학생들이 교실에서 버젓이 옥보단 3D를 감상하고 있는 사진이 공개돼 논란이 일고 있다고 지난 1일 홍콩 매체 '펑황왕'이 보도했다.

보도에 따르면 이 사진은 광둥성 포산시 소재 한 직업중학교에 재학 중인 학생이 자신의 웨이보(중국판 트위터)를 통해 공개한 것으로 알려졌다.

사진 속에는 교복을 입은 몇몇 여중생이 교실에 놓여진 대형 TV 화면을 통해 옥보단 3D를 유심히(?) 바라보고 있다.

해당 사진을 게재한 여학생은 지난달 27일 오전쯤 한 남학생이 휴식 시간을 틈 타 자신이 직접 다운로드받은 옥보단 3D를 TV와 연결해 시청했다고 진술했다.

해당 사진이 공개되자 현지 네티즌들은 "어린 학생들이 교실에서 에로 영화를 보는 것이 말이 되는가"며 씁쓸해 했다고 이 보도는 전했다.
