The 10th international English contest, organized by The Korea Times and Global Edu, took place across the nation, Sunday. It was also held in Auckland, New Zealand, on the same day.
Primary and secondary school students participating in the competition were required to answer multiple-choice questions and write essays.
Winners will be entitled to become a “Korea Times Junior Reporter” and contribute articles to the Learning Times, a four-page daily tabloid inserted in the newspaper to help The Korea Times readers learn English.
The contest was supported by the embassies of the U.S. Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines along with the British Council and held in association with GS Group. The test questions were created and audited by Canadian and American teachers.
The contest winners will be announced on www.timesenglishtest.com, next month. For further inquiries, call 1588-0564.
