Condom Santa Coming to Town

The Condom Santa Claus stands outside a restaurant called "Cabbages and Condoms" in Bangkok.

According to the Metro Online News in the United Kingdom, it was founded by a non-profit organization dedicated for the campaign of birth control and condoms usage in preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS in Thailand.

Cabbages and Condoms is the only restaurant in the world where people get a free vasectomy at the clinic next door, with every ordered meal. Condom Santa is dressed in red condoms.

This is the 3rd Condom Santa in this restaurant. It started its first Condom Santa Claus in 2007. It is one of the most popular attractions in the Thai capital.

`콘돔산타' 태국에 등장

태국 수도 방콕에 있는 "Cabbages and Condoms"란 이름의 레스토랑 밖에는 콘돔 산타클로스가 서 있다.

메트로 온라인뉴스사에 의하면 이 레스토랑은 에이즈 감염을 방지하고 임신조절과 콘돔사용을 권장하기 위해 비영리단체에 의해 만들어졌다.

이곳은 주문한 음식과 함께 레스토랑 바로 옆에 있는 보건소에서 정관절제술을 공짜로 받을 수 있는 혜택을 주는 이세상에 단 하나밖에 없는 레스토랑이다. 산타클로스는 빨간 콘돔으로 옷을 입었다.

이 콘돔산타는 이 레스토랑이 세번째로 만든 산타이다. 첫 콘돔 산타가 등장한 것은 2007년며, 이곳은 태국수도 방콕에서 가장 인기 있는 장소 중 하나이다.
