Former President Kim Dae-jung Hospitalized
Former President Kim Dae-jung has been hospitalized after exhibiting symptoms for pneumonia, according to his aide Monday.
``The former President went to hospital after suffering from a light fever and flu since last weekend. His doctor said Kim seems to have pneumonia but he needs to have a thorough medical examination before we can confirm the diagnosis,'' the aide said.
He added the ex-head of state's health condition was not serious.
Kim was scheduled to give a speech to the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea (EUCCK) today but this was canceled due to the illness.
