Pyongyang Blasts Seoul for Raising Human Rights Issue

North Korea Saturday strongly condemned the South for raising North Korea’s human rights issue in a recent South Korea-U.S. summit joint statement, Yonhap reported.

North Korea’s overseas radio broadcasting arm, Pyongyang Broadcasting, said, “The current two Koreas’ relationship is at its worst. The confrontation is intensifying. But the Lee Myung-bak administration is trying to goad the situation into a full showdown. Lee recently mentioned about such terms as dialogue and economic cooperation but they are all lies,” it claimed.
