US Deputy Secretary of State to Visit Seoul
U.S. Deputy Secretary of State John Negroponte will arrive in Seoul Wednesday as part of his Asian tour, a government official said Tuesday.
During his two-day stay, he is scheduled to meet with Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan and other senior officials to discuss pending issues, including the North Korean nuclear issue, the official said.
Yu and Negroponte are also expected to discuss follow-up measures to the summit agreement between the Presidents of the two nations last month, he said.
After ending the Seoul visit, Negroponte will travel to Tokyo and Beijing, according to the official.
