Lufthansa to Fly Incheon-Munich Route More
Lufthansa German Airlines will expand its service between Incheon and Munich from the current three times a week to six starting next June.
The carrier will operate three weekly flights from Munich to Incheon, which will then connect to Shenyang in China, from June 8. It currently operates three flights between Busan and Munich via Incheon.
The service will enable Korean passengers to take Lufthansa flights for their trip to the Chinese city. A 221-seat A340-300 aircraft will be available on the route.
Following the service, Lufthansa will provide a total of 13 weekly flights from Korea to Germany, along with a daily service between Incheon and Frankfurt.
With the new service, Lufthansa will operate a total of 23 routes between Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
``Korea is one of the fastest growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region in terms of air traffic,'' a Lufthansa official said.
