Senior models ready for runway takeoff

A fashion show featuring senior models will be held at the Cheonggye Stream in central Seoul at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Seoul Metropolitan Facilities Management Corporation said Tuesday that 40 models over 55 will participate. Park Yang-ja, 90, is the oldest. They are not professional models but have learned modeling as a hobby.
The corporation holds the fashion show with different themes every month from April until October. Those interested in the show can download an application form from the homepage (www.sisul.co.kr) and apply for modeling via email at sisulong@sisul.or.kr.
The Chenggye Stream fashion show has been held since 2008 to promote the Dongdaemun Fashion Town as a tourist attraction.
