Wei Lou, a Chinese restaurant located on the 34th floor of Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, is presenting the special summer course menu featuring Chinese cold noodles until late August.
Customers are invited to discover the delicious course menu including the noodles, along with steamed sliced pen shell with Singaporean chili sauce, scallop appetizers, assorted homemade dim sum, deep-fried pork ribs and chef's special dessert.
Wei Lou's Chinese cold noodles are packed with seafood such as sea cucumber, shrimps, scallops and jellyfish. A sesame paste is served instead of the usual peanut sauce to be mixed with the noodles so as to deliver their unique flavor.
Wei Lou's signature menu, deep-fried pork ribs, is also included in the course.
Deep frying pork ribs involves a great deal of time and care. Pork ribs need to be soaked in water for a day to draw out the blood, and then they're marinated with special seasoning sauce for 12 hours.
The seasoned pork ribs are steamed for 30 minutes and are then fried immediately before being served to customers.
This dish is highly popular among many customers since it offers the original savory taste and soft texture of the ribs without any extra sauce.
An even more satisfying course menu can be enjoyed through the premium tea pairing service.
Besides the standard Jasmine tea, customers can choose from different premium teas to complement specific menu items.
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas recommend Yunnan Gushu White Tea, which is known to be effective in lowering temperature, or Changnyeong Wild Black Tea, which offers a clean aftertaste and refreshing aroma.
The Chinese cold noodles special summer course menu is available for lunch on weekdays.
