Millennium Hilton Seoul celebrates 'Oktoberfest 2020'
The Millennium Hilton Seoul has launched its “Oktoberfest 2020” promotion with the aim to bring the taste of Germany to the heart of Seoul for those unable to travel to Europe this year.
The promotion that is available until Oct. 31 features Paulaner as the signature draft beer this year, along with other choices of bottled Paulaner Hefe-Weisbier and Erdinger, both symbolic of the world famous German brewery.
As for the food to go with the drink selection, the Millennium Hilton Seoul has prepared a wide range of authentic German cuisine. The promotional menu includes crispy, oven-baked Scheweinhaxe, as well as traditional Weiswurst white sausage with sweet mustard, and the home-made Hilton Broteit Platte featuring various cold cuts with cheesy Obatzda spread.
Three types of pasta and other food items are also available as the perfect pairing alternatives to the drink of your choice. Kaiserschmarren pancake and Apfulkuchen apple crumble pie have also been prepared as German desserts.
The Millennium Hilton Seoul's Oktoberfest 2020 promotion is taking place in Il Ponte (LL) from 11:30 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. for lunch, and from 17:30 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. for dinner.
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas launches 'Grab & Go' season 3
In a bid to accommodate the ever-increasing demand for take-out products, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas is presenting “Grab & Go” season 3, which features a collection of the Grand Kitchen's signature dishes.
Since its initial launch last spring, the Grab & Go lunchboxes have had their offerings transformed each season using seasonal ingredients. The season 3 version will be available in October.
The lunchbox features two different options, with both options including hearty dishes ranging from salads to desserts, making them perfect substitutes for special meals at home or during small private meetings when eating out is inconvenient.
The signature lunchbox consists of 10 types of Grand Kitchen signature dishes, including abalone eggplant, stir-fried pine mushroom and seafood, and hot and sour soup.
The premium lunchbox features ample delights, including steamed king prawn and king crab, lamb chops and pork back ribs with kimchi stew.
Customers wishing to purchase the Grab & Go lunchbox must make a reservation at least four hours in advance via Naver Pay or telephone.
Pick-up is available at the Grand Kitchen or the drive-through zone on the ground floor of the hotel.
Park Hyatt Seoul presents Chocolate & Nespresso afternoon tea
The Lounge on the 24th floor of the Park Hyatt Seoul is presenting Chocolate & Nespresso afternoon tea, an afternoon escape of pure indulgence.
Curated in collaboration with premium coffee brand Nespresso, afternoon tea features a variety of savory dishes and desserts crafted to perfectly complement coffee.
Afternoon tea items are served on a unique Park Hyatt Seoul three-tier tray, inspired by traditional Korean aesthetics. Highlights include ham and cheese sandwiches, made with egg, cotto shoulder ham and served with kiwifruit sauce, and stuffed buckwheat pancakes filled with slow-cooked beef brisket and stewed apple.
An inspired selection of dessert items offers the perfect accompaniment to coffee. Irish coffee slice features melt-in-the-mouth sponge cake topped with layer upon layer of hazelnut chocolate and vanilla cream, while the pineapple tart celebrates the iconic tropical fruit's irresistible combination of sweet and sour aromas.
Other highlights include earl grey choux, a sublime combination of earl grey tea and chocolate aromas, and fresh seasonal fruit.
Nespresso capsule-shaped chocolates are presented in actual capsule boxes, creating a unique aesthetic effect.
The beverage menu features a choice of premium teas including buckwheat tea, yielding a rich yet clean flavor evoking the aromas of autumn. All afternoon tea items are subject to change according to the daily availability of ingredients.
Meanwhile, floor-to-ceiling glass windows usher in captivating autumn views, completing the perfect picture of a relaxing afternoon escape.
The afternoon tea promotion is available until Dec, 6, served daily from noon until 5:30 p.m.
