InterContinental presents the hotel's first caviar brunch
The Lobby Lounge, located on the first floor of the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, is offering the hotel's first caviar-themed brunch.
All the menu items of the brunch carefully incorporate Almas Osetra caviar obtained from sturgeon that have grown for 10 years or more.
The menu also offers truffles and foie gras along with the caviar.
Guests are invited to enjoy the weekend in the lap of luxury with the world's top three delicacies, complete with the sumptuous atmosphere offered by the Lobby Lounge's open and high ceiling.
The brunch provides a course featuring French-style caviar, along with apple lime kombucha served as a welcome drink.
The six-course brunch offers the finest gourmet experience with truffle choux and foie gras mousse with caviar, truffle sweet potato veloute, lobster and steak and chocolate dessert garnished with gold leaf.
Also, an extra portion of caviar is served in a separate bowl alongside the meal so that guests can appreciate the authentic taste of caviar.
Almas Osetra caviar used in the brunch is considered the best caviar in the world and contains no additives other than salt in order to boast its natural, smooth and savory taste.
The Lobby Lounge's caviar brunch is available between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. every weekend until Aug. 30, for 110,000 won ($93) per person.
Andaz Seoul Gangnam presents unique art fair in cooperation with LEGO Korea
The Andaz Seoul Gangnam, located near Apgujeong Station on Seoul Metro Line 3, is presenting a unique art fair in collaboration with LEGO Korea until Oct. 31.
The hotel's lobby and A'+Z Cafe have been transformed into a pop-art gallery under the exhibition themed “Nature in the city,” the hotel said, noting that it put the art on display as many people still want diverse experiences even though COVID-19 has presented many difficulties to enjoying life.
The LEGO art series follows the completion of the Gana Art show at the end of July.
In the pop-art gallery space, guests can enjoy various artworks crafted from LEGO blocks, with motifs in travel and culture as well as the LEGO Art series, which includes Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles and other globally popular characters including those from the Marvel and Star Wars universes, crafted into tile-brick mosaics on a canvas made of the toy bricks.
In addition, various LEGO mini-figures taken from each piece will be displayed alongside the canvas for a more immersive art experience.
Meanwhile, guest can enjoy coffee or tea with variety of baked goods and desserts as well as seasonal cocktails and alcoholic beverages at reasonable price in A'+Z.
A'+Z is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and presents happy hour promotion at 8 p.m., offering a 50 percent discount on the bakery and dessert.
InterContinental launches 'Flex Your Way' package
The InterContinental Seoul COEX is offering the “Flex Your Way” package until Oct. 11, adding various programs to its lavish benefits to satisfy the desire of each guest.
The package features an unprecedented dinner buffet benefit for two people costing 200,000 won or above, instead of the breakfast benefit for two people that was offered by the existing package as one of its basic benefits.
The hotel also presents the Picnic to-go set consisting of two glasses of craft beer brewed in the hotel as well as delicious chicken nuggets, allowing guests to safely enjoy their vacations while social distancing.
For an additional 10,000 won, guests can delight in the relaxing sunset yoga at the outdoor terrace on the third floor of the hotel's fitness club, while an additional 30,000 won would enable guests to indulge in two glasses of cocktails plus a snack plate at Sky Lounge located on the 30th floor.
The package presents diverse programs to help guests relish flexing on vacation at reasonable prices, including one point golf lessons from professional instructors at the hotel's golf practice range.
Moreover, guests using the package are given a full range of ample benefits, including complimentary access to indoor swimming pools and the fitness club, plus 20 percent savings at anti-aging spas and restaurants in the hotel.
The package's rates start at 241,000 won.
The hotel said it is one of the ideal hotels in which guests can spice up their vacations by taking advantage of various facilities such as the aquarium, Parnas Mall, COEX Mall, the department store and the movie theater all directly accessible through the basement of the hotel.
