InterContinental Seoul COEX launches 'Wonder Hour' package
The InterContinental Seoul COEX is showcasing its “Wonder Hour” package featuring unlimited access to various alcoholic beverages and food, along with a night at the hotel.
The package includes a one-night stay at the hotel, along with access to the Wonder Hour for two guests at the lobby lounge located on the first floor of the hotel.
The Wonder Hour offers unlimited access to various alcoholic beverages, including wine, beer and sparkling wine, along with about 30 types of snacks.
The menu items range from simple fare perfect for wine, such as smoked salmon, fruit and cake, to assorted snacks including chop steak, grilled pork belly, sweet and sour chicken, pasta and fried rice.
The offer also includes complimentary access to the indoor swimming pool that guests can take full advantage of during summer.
In addition, guests are invited to delight in leisurely relaxation on the outdoor deck, overlooking the view of the pleasant 25-meter-long indoor swimming pool and the sumptuous green scenery of Bongeun Temple.
The package is available exclusively until Aug. 16.
Prices are 220,000 won ($185) on weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) and 260,000 won on weekends (Friday and Saturday).
Andaz Seoul Gangnam launches family package in cooperation with LEGO Korea
The Andaz Seoul Gangnam, located near Apgujeong Station on Line 3, is presenting its family package that runs until Oct. 31 in collaboration with LEGO Korea, providing a staycation suitable for all family members.
The package features a surprise gift for children, and a special LEGO artwork exhibition for everyone.
This package consists of a LEGO play pouch, with two LEGO Dots bracelets, one LEGO City polybag, one LEGO Friends polybag and a one-night stay.
It also offers breakfast at Jogakbo for two adults and up to two children under six years of age, as well as lollipops and a family Polaroid photo session.
Other benefits include 50 percent off a Cabana rental fee at the indoor pool, complimentary mini-bar (alcohol excluded) and complimentary access to the indoor pool and 24-hour fitness center.
During the promotional period, the A'+Z cafe on the first floor of the hotel will be transformed into a pop-art exhibition space featuring the LEGO Art Series.
Andy Warhol's Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, Marvel Universe Iron Man, Star Wars Sith and globally popular characters have been crafted into a tile-brick mosaic on a canvas made of LEGO.
In addition, various LEGO mini-figures matching each piece will be displayed alongside the canvas for a more immersive art experience.
At the Andaz Seoul Gangnam, there are three hot tubs, separated based on temperature, and a main pool. Children are welcome to wear floating arm bands and life jackets.
There are also public saunas and herb baths as well as complimentary sunbeds.
The huge seven-meter LED screen, featuring scenes from the beautiful Han River, cannot be missed from within the pool.
The family package price starts at 335,000 won.
JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul launches takeout of health foods
The JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul's all-day dining restaurant, Tavolo 24, is presenting JW Summer Health Food To-Go, a takeout service of high-quality health foods.
The hotel said the promotion, which will run until Aug. 23, will help replenish energy and boost appetites from the summer heat.
The promotion is a premium nutrient-packed summer well-being health food set, using fresh and healthy ingredients that help promote a healthy, resilient immune system.
A set menu consists of a main entree and five side dishes, with chicken soup with ginseng, black-rice, jujube and chestnut as the main dish.
The set prices start from 28,000 won.
Additionally, the promotion will also offer delivery to guests located within a 3.5-kilometer radius of JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul, combining the epicurean delights of Tavolo 24 cuisine with the unmatched convenience of fast home delivery at a discounted delivery fee.
Orders must be placed at least 1 hour in advance, either by contacting Tavolo 24 or via online reservation service Naver Booking. Foods may be collected in person at Tavolo 24 or delivered by courier service.
