Andaz Seoul Gangnam launches GRAB & GO service
Andaz Seoul Gangnam, a lifestyle hotel brand of Hyatt International, implemented a new GRAB & GO service, March 30, which is in line with the recent social distancing campaign to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The service allows guests to enjoy a hotel dining experience at home.
The GRAB & GO service at the restaurant JOGAKBO aims to provide non face-to-face service to minimize direct contact and reduce the dangers of contamination.
The chef has prepared the following five items for the service: the Andaz burger, made with a beef patty, cheddar cheese and cucumber namul that is flavored with gochujang mayonnaise; the Andaz panini BLT, made with pork belly, bacon with soybean chili paste mayonnaise and garlic; the chicken avocado sourdough sandwich, made of chicken breast marinated with lemon garlic and topped with avocado; the smoked salmon cream cheese wrap; the grilled halloumi and mushroom wrap.
All selections are served in a to-go package with French fries.
A family set to share with three to four people is also available.
Guests can select two items from the above GRAB & GO menu, and chicken tenders, sliced fruit, a garden salad and condiments are included.
The Grab & Go service is available from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. every day, and the price ranges from 14,000 won ($12) to 20,000 won. The family set is 50,000 won.
All prices include 10 percent tax. For an additional 5,000 won, a soup of the day and seasonal fruit is included with the order.
Grand Deli presents cherry blossom cake as April exclusive
The Grand Deli, located on the first floor of Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas, offers a glamorous cherry blossom cake, evoking the image of cherry blossom petals fluttering in a spring breeze in April.
As the world is going through a challenging time, and current circumstances mean that people cannot easily go outside to enjoy the breeze under cherry blossoms, the hotel invite visitors to indulge in the look and taste of spring flowers with a slice of cake.
The Grand Deli's bright white and pink cherry blossom cake is decorated with dozens of elegant cherry blossom petals handcrafted by the hotel's pastry chef.
The delicate and intricate flower decorations are made from sweet butter cream for a delightful spring flavor.
The cake sheet contains beta-carotene-packed, highly anti-oxidizing carrots as the main ingredient. Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A once it enters the body, and it is absorbed better when taken with fat such as butter.
The cake is only available for a limited time during April for 65,000 won including tax and service charge.
The Westin Chosun Seoul presents Colorful Journey 2020 package
The Westin Chosun Seoul presents its year-round season special package Colorful Journey 2020 under the theme of season-inspired colors.
Collaborating with color and lifestyle brand FIBRENO, the hotel presents its package guests with items in the seasons' special colors.
The first season of the Colorful Journey 2020 package is spring, and is available until May 31.
Aiming to help its guests enjoy their colorful “staycation” and embrace the seasonal changes, the hotel has carefully prepared lifestyle items in season-inspired colors with FIBRENO, which was established with its motto of “Color for Life” and produces fashion, home furnishing and travel items.
As spring is in the air and people are in lighter outfits, the hotel offers package guests FIBRENO's Journey Spring Clutch.
The bag, exclusively designed for The Westin Chosun Seoul's guests, is good for travelers.
Plus, it is available in two colors, pistachio and royal pink, giving guests a fresh look for warmer seasons.
All package guests can enjoy access to the City Athletic Club, swimming pool and fitness center.
The ceiling of the swimming pool is modeled like a large ship, making them feel like they are in the sea and offering the perfect backdrop for a spring getaway in the city.
Three different room types ― deluxe, executive and junior suite rooms ― are offered. The package price per night varies depending on a room type.
The price is 220,000 won for a deluxe room, 300,000 won for an executive room and 390,000 won for a junior suite room.
Guests need to note that when they stay on Saturday, they will be charged an additional 10,000 won.
Executive room guests have access to the Lounge on the 20th floor where they can enjoy breakfast buffet, afternoon snacks and cocktail hour providing unlimited cocktails. The sauna is also available for two adult guests free of charge.
Suite guests have the access to the Lounge and breakfast at Aria.
