Grand Hyatt Incheon hosts Italian wine dinner
The Grand Hyatt Incheon will host an Italian wine dinner with chef Enzo Carbone, recipient of the Ambassador of the Culinary Arts award from the Italian Premio Guido Alciati Turin, at Restaurant 8, Dec. 6.
Enzo found his passion in the expression of family-style Italian cooking. Now he has been creating culinary wonders professionally in kitchens for nearly 20 years, experience that has provided him with a unique outlook and passion for food.
Following extensive studies in Italy and Switzerland, Enzo's rich experience in the culinary arts has taken him from England to New Zealand, Hong Kong and then to Shanghai in 2000, where he opened Cucina at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai. In 2005, he received the Ambassador of the Culinary Arts award ― a rare recognition of his contribution to the love of regional Italian cuisine throughout the world.
In 2006, he joined the Salvatore Cuomo Group as corporate executive chef and managing director for Asia-Pacific. Under Enzo's management, the group opened multiple restaurants in Korea, China, Japan and Singapore. Salvatore Cuomo's Korean branch opened in Apgujeong, southern Seoul, where Enzo and his team built an outstanding reputation.
Imperial Palace Seoul comes up with package for women
The Imperial Palace Seoul has launched its Ladies Night Package for those who want to enjoy parties at the end of the year.
The promotion offers two options: a business wide twin room for three or a duplex twin room for four. Also, it provides a do-it-yourself party kit, including a rental of a photo printer enabling guests to print pictures from their smartphones. A dessert set with sparkling wine is also included.
To help guests enjoy the property at their leisure, it also offers a late check-out benefit.
In addition, those who opt to use its club lounge can enjoy breakfast and day snacks in the lounge located on the 20th floor. The promotion will be available until Dec. 20.
Grand Hyatt Seoul offers skating-linked promotion
The Grand Hyatt Seoul has launched its Shall We Skate Package that will offer great memories for families and couples.
Along with a one-night stay in a standard room, the package makes the most of one of the property's best signature items ― its ice-skating rink ― allowing two to skate for free and offering two hot chocolates. For those who do not have ice skates, rentals are available.
The swimming pool-turned-rink accommodates up to 150 skaters across its 1,100-square-meter surface.
The package will be available from Dec. 6 to Feb. 29.
Le Meridien Seoul unveils five Christmas cakes
The Le Meridien Seoul has come up with five types of cakes that will add to unforgettable memories for Christmas and year-end parties.
The five are red-velvet cake, carrot cake, fruit fresh cream cake, Buche de Noel and Stollen.
The cakes can be purchased at the lounge-style Latitude 37 located on the ground level.
