Grand Hyatt Seoul completes Grand Ballroom renovation
The Grand Hyatt Seoul has officially completed the extensive renovation of its Grand Ballroom providing a new, industry-leading platform for weddings and banquets, and meetings, incentives, conference and exhibitions (MICE).
The renovated Grand Ballroom offers event customers a completely new experience by melding the traditional foundations of function with modern, contemporary designs and technologies.
The renovated ballroom features new digital technology to meet the needs and expectations of today's hi-tech events. All analog signs have been replaced with advanced digital ones, with the lobby balcony being replaced with a massive digital wall enabling multi-media presentations of the highest quality. The large LED screen spans the ballroom's first floor lobby area.
The interior of the Grand Ballroom has been re-designed as a multi-purpose venue perfect for large-scale theatrical and promotional events.
Nine Tree Hotel opens at Insa-dong
Parnas Hotel, which owns the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and the InterContinental Seoul COEX, opened the Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insa-dong, Oct. 9.
This is the third Nine Tree brand in Korea following two others in Myeong-dong, established in 2012 and 2017, respectively.
The hotel, located near the Cultural Street of Insadong-gil, offers 301 rooms from the fifth to the 14th floors, all-day restaurant dining, a rooftop bar, a rooftop garden and conference rooms.
Decorated with uniquely Korean patterns, materials and color schemes, the hotel is preparing to add features that will enable guests to experience Korean culture even in their rooms.
Conrad Seoul wins international awards
Conrad Seoul has made the list of the top 20 hotels in Asia rated by Conde Nast Traveler readers.
The property was ranked seventh in the list of hotels in Asia.
In addition, Conrad has been named Asia's Leading Luxury City Hotel for the fifth straight year by the World Travel Awards, along with Korea's Leading Hotel, its sixth straight achievement.
The World Travel Awards has been acknowledging quality and luxury within the travel industry since its first offerings in 1993.
Jeju Shinhwa World to accommodate PGA golfers
The Jeju Shinhwa World has been named the official hotel partner of the nation's lone PGA Tour tournament for the third straight year.
The CJ Cup is scheduled for Thursday to Sunday on the southern resort island of Jeju and the event will bring over 5,000 people, including players, officials and VIP guests.
The island's only large-scale resort complex, Shinhwa World offers 2,062 rooms and will serve as a venue for various additional events, including a gala dinner.
