JW Marriott Dongdaemun offers perfect Chuseok getaway

Inspired by the search for the perfect urban break for the Chuseok holiday, the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul is set to provide its “Artractive Holiday” experience, a unique vacation available from Sept. 1 to 15.

It combines a one-night stay in a deluxe room with a buffet breakfast at Tavolo 24 for two adults and two children and complimentary use of the hotel's indoor pool and fitness center.

Also, it gives up to three tickets to L'Atelier, a cultural destination featuring works by 19th-century French artists, which is located near the property.

Signiel Seoul bar gains global recognition

Signiel Seoul's Bar 81 has made the list of Forbes Travel Guide's World's Best Hotel Sky Bars.

It was a lone achievement by a Korea-based bar to join 11 other global bars, including The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong's Ozone, the Marina Bay Sands's Ce La Vi Skybar and the Shanghai Edition's Roof.

“Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook a breathtaking panorama of mountains, the Han River and skyscraper-filled Gangnam,” it said.

“Watch the sunset with some effervescence ― the bar maintains the country's largest champagne selection, including prized pours like Victoire Gold Vintage 2010 and Victoire Prestige Brut.”

Grand Ambassador Seoul launches opera package

The Grand Ambassador Seoul associated with Pullman has come up with its Opera Carmen package, which features tickets to the show.

The package, limited only for 30 guests, will be available from Sept. 1 to 24 and it includes two tickets to the opera, a one-night stay in a superior room and breakfast buffet for two. There are three types of seats.

The opera will be staged only on Sept. 24 at Lotte Concert Hall.

Park Hyatt Seoul offers 'Plentifall' afternoon tea set

The Park Hyatt Seoul has launched an afternoon tea set offering customers a taste of fall.

At The Lounge on the 24th floor of the property, the “Plentifall” afternoon tea set will be available, comprised of over 10 savory bites and desserts using seasonal ingredients such as persimmon, pumpkin and red bean along with tea or coffee.

The promotion will be available until Oct. 23 from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
