Imperial Palace Seoul offers new strawberry desserts
Delmar, the Imperial Palace Seoul's European-style cafe, presents a strawberry-themed promotion.
The Strawberry in Love dessert, comprised of four menu options, is an upgrade from its customer-favorite afternoon tea set. Its signature menu is “Strawberry after Dinner with Tea” that features a three-layer tray loaded with strawberry desserts and a tea tray set decorated in European style, accompanied by coffee or a Ronnefeldt tea.
For those who prefer champagne, the facility also offers two other options that replace the tea tray set with two types of champagne.
The promotion will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., every day until April 30.
Vista Walkerhill launches pet-featured package
The Vista Walkerhill Seoul has come up with a package featuring an exclusive room for pets and their owners all year round.
Its Oh My Pet promotion allows owners and their pets to stay in a pet concept room along with a breakfast buffet for two. As its name suggests, it offers toys for pets and dog poo bags.
The room is full of various amenities for pets such as bed and pillow as well as towels, beverages and snacks.
The pet package is open to dogs weighing less than 15 kilograms and dog food is not offered.
Some of the package earnings will be donated to shelters for abandoned dogs.
Alcove Hotel Seoul hails new GM
The Alcove Hotel Seoul has named Luis Riestra as its general manager.
The property that opened on Oct. 15 is the first domestic hotel brand to use the booking system and loyalty program of French hospitality group AccorHotels.
Riestra, who joined AccorHotels Group in 2016, has worked in the hospitality industry in various capacities such as sales, marketing and market strategy in many countries, including Canada, Vietnam and Maldives.
He also worked at the Grand Hyatt Incheon, helping the property join the world's top three hotels in 2010.
Riestra said it was significant for him to lead the Alcove Hotel Seoul, given that it is Accor's first boutique hotel in Korea.
Park Hyatt Busan presents suite package
The Park Hyatt Busan presents its Suite Experience Package which allows guests to experience luxurious suites with exclusive benefits.
It provides a 100,000 won ($89) credit that is valid anywhere in the hotel along with breakfast and welcome amenities of one bottle of wine and a fruit bowl.
The package also offers a 2 p.m. late checkout and complimentary valet parking service.
It will be available until the end of the year.
