The PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games has many Korean glued to the TV in the evening. As the sporting event draw to a close on Sunday, they are looking forward to the closing ceremony.

For the past two weeks, hotels across the country have been offering PyeongChang-themed promotions to cater to the winter sports fans, who are in a celebration mood. As the Olympics won’t end for another two days, you can still check out these hotels’ packages and other promotions.

The Westin Chosun Busan

For the last two weeks, the Westin Chosun Busan Hotel has been offering food and beverage promotions to celebrate the Korean team’s victories.

In particular, it has been offering surprise food and beverage promotions to guests staying at the hotel each time Korean athletes win medals: for a gold medal, a dining voucher for two at its Korean restaurant, Sheobul, for a silver medal a voucher for two at the hotel’s sauna, and for a bronze medal, two cups of coffee from the Chosun Deli.

Each guest can receive only one voucher during the promotional period. A hotel stay costs between 180,000 won and 390,000 won per night, excluding tax and service charges. For more information, call (051) 749-7001.

Four Points by Sheraton Seoul, Namsan

Four Points by Sheraton Seoul, Namsan, a business hotel walking distance from Seoul Station, has been offering two complimentary welcome drinks at The Bar.

The promotion is available to guests staying at the hotel for more than three nights and who have a fast-train KTX ticket to PyeongChang or Gangneung where sporting events are taking place.

Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton is offering three special cocktails at its buffet restaurant Cafe 395 and bar Oak Room.

Each drink which is made with liquor from the PyeongChang area, costs only 10,000 won.

The “Hobi” cocktail, named after the tiger, is made with traditional mushroom liquor from PyeongChang and garnished with dried persimmon.

The “Bandi” cocktail, inspired by the half-moon bear, is made with wild grape liquor from the area, while the “Solbi,” inspired by pine trees, a symbol of Gangwon Province where PyeongChang is belonged to, is made with pine-flavored liquor and mixed with lemon juice.
