Hotels in Seoul and the metropolitan area are offering packages for those who would like to enjoy spring’s cherry blossom show in the city. Here is a roundup of some of the best packages.
Millennium Seoul Hilton
The Millennium Seoul Hilton is offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a getaway in the heart of the city. The hotel is close to the six-century-old “Hanyang Castle Road,” as well as Mount Nam where the roads up the mountain top are flanked with cherry blossom trees and other flowering plants which is worth visiting during one’s stay.
The cherry blossom package includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe City View Room, free Wi-Fi, complimentary access to the fitness center and swimming pool, two bottles of water and macaroons with coffee or tea for two people. The package is available during weekends until May 27. The package is only available for local residents. The package costs 230,000 won, excluding tax and service charges.
For guests with children 12 years old or younger, the hotel also offers a package that includes a room stay, complimentary free breakfast for four and a complimentary eco-friendly bag, organic candies and chocolate coconut truffles. Grand Hyatt Incheon
The Grand Hyatt Incheon is in the metropolitan area’s west coast, close to the Incheon International Airport Expressway, which is famous for the cherry blossom trees. The hotel is also close to Ewangri and Mui Island, which are famous for their beaches.
The package includes a one-night stay, free access to the children’s pool and playground, an extended checkout at 4 p.m., and seven days of free parking. Conrad Seoul
The Conrad Seoul is located right in the middle of Seoul’s cherry blossom island, Yeouido where people stroll along cherry blossom trees, take picnics and have their photos taken. Thus, staying in Conrad Seoul can enrich a spring weekend outing. The cherry blossom package includes a one-night stay in a room with a view of Han River, a lunch sandwich meal, including drinks, prepared by the hotel chefs and a portable blanket and free parking service during the stay. The package is available until May 31 and starts at 315,000 won without breakfast and 375,000 won with breakfast for two.
