Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel presents bingsu, one of Korea’s most loved summer desserts, before the season arrives.

Lobby Lounge.Bar on the 41st floor offers three different types of bingsu: mango bingsu made with diced mangos and macaroons, berry bingsu made with fresh berries and “injeolmi” (rice cake coated with bean flour) red bean bingsu. Every bingsu comes with red beans, condensed milk and nuts, which are served separately.

Grand Hyatt Incheon presents Cuisine of Liguria in May at Restaurant 8. Liguria is a coastal region of northwestern Italy.

Dinner will comprise five-course dishes starting with a baby octopus salad and king crab soup, followed by pansotti stuffed with ricotta cheese and walnut. The main dish will be grilled beef tenderloin with the well-known Ligurian basil pesto sauce. For dessert, nut-crusted orange custard pie will be served with vanilla ice cream, offering a soft and sweet finale. Park Hyatt Seoul’s live entertainment bar and restaurant, The Timber House, presents a special guest bartender until Saturday, bringing in Jimmy Barrat, the head bartender of Dubai’s best Japanese restaurant and bar, ZUMA.

Barrat, a winner in the Middle East region of the worldwide bartender contest World Class 2012, will present a variety of creative cocktails through various events, including a cocktail classes and cocktail pairing dinner.

He will have two cocktail classes, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Friday and from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. It is a special opportunity to study Jimmy Barrat’s cocktail-making and learn about cocktails. Each class is priced at 60,000 won per person including tax.

Guests can enjoy Jimmy’s special cocktails at The Timber House starting 6 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, a special dinner featuring five-course Japanese delicacies with his cocktail pairing will be offered from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cocktail pairing dinner is priced at 120,000 per person including tax.

Cafe 395 at Millennium Seoul Hilton is starting a Sunday BBQ brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Sunday from May 5. Guests will have a wide selection of foods, including barbecued meats such as beef skewers, pork loin, seafood skewers and pork ribs. The Sunday BBQ Brunch starts at 91,000 won per person. Guests can have their meal on the outdoor terrace. Drinks and desserts are separately charged for diners on the terrace between 8,000 won and 25,000 won.
