Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Chinese restaurant Taipan is featuring ginseng in October.
Featured dishes include Cantonese roast duck served with honey glazed fresh ginseng; stir-fried live lobster and fresh ginseng with garlic and red chili; and fried rice with fresh ginseng and black chicken wrapped in lotus leaf.

W Seoul-Walkerhill will open its two restaurants for open-bar happy hour promotion. At Namu, the Japanese restaurant, a two-hour open bar will offer five Japanese drinks for 80,000 won per person every Friday evening. Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Japanese restaurant Akasaka presents 12 seasonal specials until Oct. 25, featuring hair tail, eggplant and pine mushroom.
The menu will include thick slices of hair tail fried and smothered in radish sauce; roasted eggplant seasoned with Japanese Miso sauce; roasted eggplant and avocado seasoned in spicy-salty wasabi soy sauce; and roasted eggplant and white yam.
