Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg has all the characteristics that many travelers in Paris look for in a hotel: location, elegance, luxury and exclusivity.

The hotel, which is part of a French chain, sits at the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Honore, a street lined with luxury brand shops. Major tourist destinations — the Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Gardens, Champs—Elysees and Grand Palais Galeries — are also steps away.

Walking into the lobby of the hotel, one is overwhelmed by the architecture of the 18th century private mansion, and the decadent interior design, including the furniture and fabric, all of which display rich materials and patterns. The most eye-catching pieces in the hotel are the audacious ‘70’s-style chandelier, the superb mirrors and the floor in the middle of the lobby, which gives the illusion of reflecting a painted ceiling.

Each of the hotel’s 147 rooms is furnished with a high bed with a feather over-mattress, a duvet and pillows; a Louis XV-style armchair that ends the feel of a royal family palace room; and vintage-looking mirrors that reflect the brilliant ball gowns that were once photographed for Vogue.

All the toiletries are provided by French luxury goods manufacturer Hermes, which enhances a hotel guest’s luxurious experience in Paris.

All rooms, even the smallest ones, are luxurious enough, but the hotel’s private apartments, the Prestige Suites, take luxury to a whole other level.

At STAY Paris le Faubourg, the hotel’s signature restaurant located at the lobby, chef Yannick Alleno creates an authentic urban atmosphere. Chef Alleno’s adventurous spirit is reflected in the restaurant’s modern, comforting, elegant and minimalist cuisine.

However, what attracts the most attention from the hotel’s guests is the restaurant’s Pastry Library, which showcases the chef’s best-kept secrets and enables each guest to select the final ingredient for his or her dessert.

The Bar du Faubourg, adjacent to the restaurant, imbues charm and elegance through its black — and — white interior design.

Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg’s facilities also include a gym, massage station and special shower, in which one can enjoy different shower levels, from a mist to a light rain. All but the massage station are free of charge.
