To celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, the Ritz-Carlton Seoul has launched a design competition, “Ritz-Carlton Memories ― Designer of Dreams.” Participants will compete to design the hotel’s 20th anniversary logo.
The winner will be appointed “Ritz-Carlton Seoul 20th Anniversary Honorary Designer” and will receive certificates that can be redeemed for accommodation, meals and spa treatments.
The winning design will feature on 20th anniversary souvenirs and publicity material, representing a unique opportunity for aspiring designers and professionals. Participation is open to any individual or team, with no special requirements or restrictions. Prizes, however, can only be used by the winner in person.

The Plaza has recently completed renovations on six small and medium-sized banquet facilities suitable for small conferences, small parties and weddings. Altogether, the hotel has nine such rooms.
Five venues on the fourth floor ― the Orchid and Maple halls and the Bamboo, Pine and Oak rooms ― are equipped with new furniture and decorated with gold. These are designed for small receptions and can accommodate between 15 and 80 people. The Maple Hall has a VIP reception room.
Xystum House, on the top floor, is specially designed for weddings. The renovations have created an elegant atmosphere with a white and silver color scheme.
