It would be great to get out of Seoul for a vacation, but sometimes flying and driving can tire you out even before you get to the destination. Travelling is especially difficult if you have babies. The nation’s leading hotels know how you feel, and have prepared summer packages galore.
The
W Seoul-Walkerhill
is offering “Chill out”;
“
Stay Cool”; and the popular “Escape” through Sept. 1.
The “Chill Out” package, priced at 280,000 won (tax and service fee excluded, surcharge on weekends and peak periods), includes a one-night stay, buffet-style breakfast for two, and 15 percent to 20 percent discounts on several facilities including the outdoor swimming pool “River Park.”
Cool and chic relaxation is available at the AWAY Spa at W Seoul-Walkerhill in northern Seoul.
The “Stay Cool” package priced at 325,000 won, is designed for those looking for a trendy getaway. It includes one-night accommodation, buffet-style breakfast and 15 percent to 20 percent discount on hotel facilities and free access for two at Water Zone Sauna.
W Hotel’s steady seller “Escape” package, priced at 422,000 won is a great choice for families and couples wanting to enjoy a great vacation right within the city, features free access to River Park, in addition to the basic components of the above packages.

The Plaza
in downtown Seoul introduces “Buon Giorno Plaza” packages through Aug. 31. There is Buon Giorno Plaza Deluxe, which includes one night in the Deluxe Room with Italian wine and cheese platter. The price is 230,000 won (VAT and service charge is not included). The Buon Giorno Plaza Premier, which features one night in a Premier Suite and Italian wine and a cheese platter. The package includes Mediterranean-style breakfast at the buffet restaurant Seven Square and is priced at 310,000 won (VAT and service charge not included). The Buon Giorno Plaza Executive package includes studio-type executive suite, Italian white wine with cheese platter, and dinner at the Italian restaurant Tuscany. Chef Samuel Zucca from Friuli, Italia, will prepare this special course set. The package is priced at 370,000 won.

The Imperial Palace Seoul
promises benefits galore through its summer packages. Depending on room type request, there are Deluxe room; Club deluxe rooms and Duplex Suits or Corner suites that included breakfasts at either Café Amiga or Club Imperial Lounge on the 20th floor and others.

Lotte Hotel Seoul
offers Summer Night Packages from July 11 through Aug. 31 in three types. The Summer Casual Night Package is priced at 230,000 won and includes a one-night stay in a Superior Room, a 30,000 won voucher redeemable at Cool Pops Plaza or the Lounge, and two tickets to Lotte Cinema (general theater). The Summer Lazy Night Package (starting from 260,000 won) includes a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room, courtesy fruit and cookies, summer dessert, two bottles of Bernini sparkling wine, one free movie on Pay TV, and late-check out service until 2:00 pm if available.
The Lotte Hotel Seoul offers “Summer Ladies Night Package” through Aug. 31, mainly for female guests who would like a girls’ night out for fun and relaxation.

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel
in Sindorim-dong, the transportation hub of southwestern Seoul, may be a good choice.
The package includes one night stay at the hotel plus Sheraton ice tumblers with drinks, along with free access to the swimming pool and gym. The most notable of the hotel is the expansive view of Seoul that it offers ― located on the 41st floor, its lobby is the highest hotel lobby in the country with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. As all the rooms are located between 29th and 40th floor, splendid night views are available in any room. The 17-meter indoor swimming pool on the 27th floor is not an exception.
Below the hotel is D-Cube City, a multi-shopping complex that includes not only department store but also arts center, apartment and offices.
