Lotte Hotel has appointed Song Yong-dok as the new president and CEO of the hotel chain group.
Song was the head of Lotte Hotel Moscow’s local corporation, Lotte Rus, and has been recognized for successfully launching the Korean hotel chain in the Russian hospitality market.
Since joining Lotte Hotel in 1979, the 57-year-old has held various posts such as sales team leader, marketing division chief, and general manager of Lotte Hotel World and Lotte Hotel Jeju.

It’s the time of the year for graduation ceremonies and the Millennium Seoul Hilton’s international buffet Orangerie offers a special promotion until the end of February.

The cocktails are named after and inspired by celebrities and dignitaries who stayed in the hotel over the past 100 years. The MacArthur cocktail, inspired by General Douglas MacArthur who enjoyed drinking the Korean-style boilermaker, is made with Jack Daniel’s and Guinness and topped with Sapporo beer foam and cinnamon sticks. The Marilyn Monroe cocktail mixes Grey Goose vodka and Campari to evoke her glamorous image, and is served in a martini glass rimmed with sugar.
