The Residents’ Lounge at the Oakwood Premier Coex Center Seoul offers an Italian promotion through Oct. 30.
A chef with 30 years of experience at five-star hotels will prepare authentic Italian cuisine, including beef carpaccio with rucola and capricciosa salad, polenta gratin with sauteed seafood, rare-grilled tuna with spicy tomato sauce, roasted chicken with gnocchi in garlic oil sauce, and chocolate cake with fried apple covered with vanilla sauce.

W Seoul-Walkerhill
The W Seoul-Walkerhill has appointed Greg Findlay as its new general manager.
The hotelier and management expert from New Zealand has built his career mostly in Asia and Oceania including Australia, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia since beginning work at the Sheraton New Zealand in 1992.
Findlay has been with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide for many years and successfully launched the Westin Auckland, Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa Phuket.
“I’m ecstatic to be working with a great team at W Seoul-Walkerhill, a leader of the W brand not only in Asia but worldwide. As a successfully established hotel in the region, we will continue to introduce new lifestyle and present creative services and enjoyments to our guests,” Findlay said.

The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel presents the Aequalis Spa package through the end of November.
The package offers healing services with Aequalis Spa, the first introduction of Thai brand MSpa in Korea. It includes deluxe room accommodation, a choice of 60-minute treatments between a color stone vibe and modern skin facial for two people, and a spa travel kit.

Andreas Krampl has been appointed as the JW Marriott Seoul’s executive chef.
The chef with 20 years of experience in the culinary industry began his career as an apprentice in his hometown in Germany. He has traveled around the world and worked with various luxurious establishments in the hospitality industry, including a three-star Michelin restaurant and various top-class hotels mostly in Asia and the Middle East. He has received numerous awards such as the AAA5 Diamond Award, Horizons Top 100 Table Restaurant, Galileo Restaurant Award and the Star Achievers Awards.
Krampl will oversee all kitchen operations in the hotel as well as the banquet kitchen operation to ensure a flawless culinary experience and service to all guests.
His basic techniques remain the same: simple, tasty and authentic food using the best ingredients and prepared with simple cooking methods.
Renaissance Seoul Hotel
The Trevi Lounge at the Renaissance Seoul Hotel offers a Happy Hour promotion where guests can enjoy unlimited drinks and snack platters.
