Entertainer Kim Gu-ra's son to make a singing debut

Kim Dong-hyun, an outspoken 16-year-old television personality whose father is the popular comedian Kim Gu-ra, is set to make his debut as a rap singer.
Local hip hop record label Brand New Music announced Tuesday that Kim will feature in a song that on rapper San E’s first studio album.
In the album titled, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” Kim added his voice to the song “On Top of Your Head” under his new stage name “MC Gree.”
“This song marks Kim’s debut as MC Gree and tells the life story of rapper San E,” the company said in a statement. The company added that the song will be released on Wednesday.
Kim joined the label last November.
Making his television debut in 2006 as a guest star of KBS’s talk show “Bad Dad Club” along with his father, Kim has appeared in many television shows and has gained popularity for his witty comments.
Kim and his family recently became the talk of the town as Gu-ra was reported to be struggling with a debt owed by Kim’s mother amounting to 17 billion won ($1.5 million). The news came to light as the 44-year-old comedian cancelled all of his TV appearances last December as he was diagnosed with a panic disorder.
Appearing as a guest on SBS TV’s talk show “Healing Camp” on Monday night, Kim Gu-ra explained how the panic disorder affected him.
“I thought that I was not the kind of person that would have a panic disorder, but apparently it happened as I was getting angry when I was at home and learning that my wife was running up so much debt,” Kim said in the show.
The comedian explained that the huge debts his wife owed came from his wife’s sister who borrowed 500 million to 600 million won a few years ago using his name illegally, adding he is currently clearing off the debts.
