Plastic surgery society has new chief

Kim Woo-seob
Dr. Kim Woo-seob, a professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Chung-Ang University School of Medicine, was appointed president of the Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (KSAPS), Sunday. He will take office in May for a two-year term.
Kim studied medicine at Chung-Ang, and has served as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School. He is currently chairman of the Korean Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons’ public relations committee, and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
The KSAPS, founded in 1985, is an organization of some 1,700 experts who have been certified by the Korean Board of Plastic Surgery.
