Shin Hak-lim named president of Media Today

Shin Hak-lim, 54, a former head of the National Union of Mediaworkers, was named president of Media Today, a newspaper published by the union, Thursday.
Media Today said Shin was elected at a board meeting.
Shin will head the paper for three years beginning April 1.
Shin started his career as a reporter at The Korea Times in 1984.
He led the union of the Hankook Ilbo, the sister paper of The Korea Times, from 2003 to 2007.
