Koyote Member Kim Jong-Min Discharged

Popular singer Kim Jong-min, a member of hip-hop group Koyote, was discharged from his alternate military service, Friday.

At a Seoul high court where he served for the last two years, Kim was greeted by hundreds of reporters and staffers of the KBS2 TV show ``Happy Sunday ― One Night, Two Days.''

Kim, the former member of the variety-comedy show, rejoined the program and headed to shoot a scene with comedian Kang Ho-dong and five other members of the Sunday primetime show.

``It's like two years have gone in a moment. I became healthier as I followed regular (military) life. I never even had a cold,'' he told reporters.

Kim gave his best wishes to another Koyote member, Bbaek Ga (real name Baek Sung-hyun), who was recently diagnosed as having a brain tumor.

``I talk with him often over the phone. I wish he will recover as soon as possible.''

Kim started military service in mid-November, 2007. He has also been asked to appear on several other TV programs.
