(51) Fate of Figure Skating Star II — Mao Asada

By Janet Shin

We are going to compare the fates of two world figure skating stars who have followed seemingly similar life paths so far. Last week, we reviewed the saju of Kim Yu-na, Korean figure skating star, and this week, we are to read the saju of Mao Asada, who is a Japanese figure skater. Both are competing in world championship.

Asada is the 2008 world champion, the 2008 Four Continents champion, the 2005-06 and 2008-09 season Grand Prix final champion, among other titles.

She is also the first and only woman to have landed two triple axel jumps in the same program at an ISU competition. Asada is officially ranked third in the world.

Asada was born Sept. 25, 1990. Asada and Kim were born the same year, the year of gyeong-o, and their day stems are also the same, gye-yin water energy. While the birth year only contributes the year pillar, the month and day pillars could be varied with over ten thousand options. So it is a real coincidence that they have the same day master. The overall construction of saju has metal and water energy that represent the figure skaters best.

Both of them have strong mental energy, which is knowledge trine for gye water.

It means that their success is not only through natural talent, but also by effort and the support of their coaches.

People with strong knowledge stars usually plan carefully for success, and are thoughtful. They don't act rashly, thus seldom provide reason for any malicious gossip.

Asada could also have had a distorted result in her records of the year 2008 (mu-ja), owing to a ja-o clash. We can foresee certain changes in the year 2011 (sin-myo) for a myo-yu clash of Asada's saju, while some changes are anticipated in 2010 (gyeong-in) for an in-sin clash of Kim's saju.

The expression star for Kim is gap wood, while for Asada it is eul wood. Think about how they express their figure skills in a little bit of a different way. Gap wood stands for big strong straight forward trees while eul wood stands for small, pretty flowers.

For both, the changes are about their knowledge stars and expression stars. They will finish their expression cycle around their mid-twenties and will start a new career in their mid thirties.

Half trines are those missing one letter among three trine letters. Although there are lots of theories about the half trines, for example, it is effective only when it has the flourishing letter, or it is effective when they are next to each other, and so on.

However, as per my clinical examination, the half trines have little influence in people's daily life, so it is better not to use this theory. But it is more important to view its celestial meaning, inducing forces and the hollow letter generated by these two trine letters.

These two theories are more than important to infer the causes of people's life and they really need further clinical examinations.

The hollow letter was recently discovered to have shown a hidden letter in addition to 8 letters. It plays an important role in reading one's life by saju palza (Bazi-8 letters) as we must read not only the surface but the hidden phenomena.

Here, let's review the celestial, inducing forces first. It is not so difficult therefore you will be able to understand by the examples below.

We call it half trine as it has In wood and O fire (missing sul earth) out of In-O-Sul assembly trine. As has been said, it doesn't have an important influence (fire forces). However, when there is a celestial inducing force as in the example below, you must watch the powerful assembly by the celestial, inducing the force byeong fire to complete In-O-Sul fire trine.

The celestial inducing force, when we put it simply, is the situation when there is a celestial stem of the half trine element. In the above example, In-O-Sul is a fire trine and when there is either byeong or jeong fire stem, it influences the half trine and they make a powerful fire trine. It is more powerful than those of six terrestrial combinations.

In other words, as was said before, combination and assembly are the feeling of being tied up and bound. So if there is assembly or azimuth trine, the day master cannot use them at convenience. On the other hand, although there are feelings of being ``tied up" and ``can't use," the combined letters are protected from outer attacks.
