The Union Minister for Human Resource Development of India Smriti Irani inaugurated the event on Feb. 14 and the Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha inaugurated the children’s pavilion.

A highlight of the Urim Books booth was the book “The Message of the Cross” published in various languages spoken in India, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Odia, Tankhul, Simte and Nepalese. The book has been translated into 57 languages up to now.

In addition, Urim displayed "My Life, My Faith," an autobiography by Dr. Jaerock Lee, which has been published in 35 languages, including English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The Urim Books booth consisted of interesting selections for people of all age groups.

Among the titles, the series book” Spirit, Soul and Body(2)” had the visitors’ attention.

In the book, Dr. Lee writes that "We can stop not only typhoons but also other natural disasters such as volcanic eruptions or earthquakes if we utilize the spiritual space. We can just cover the source of volcano eruption or the earthquake with the space of God, and these things can be made possible when it is right according to the justice of God. For example, to stop a disaster that causes damage at a national level, the leader of the country is supposed to ask for the prayer."

China will be the guest of honor at the New Delhi World Book Fair 2016. A Memorandum of Understanding to this effect was exchanged between Dr. M A Sikandar, Director, National Book Trust, India and Mr. Cai Fuchao, Chief Administrator, State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SAPPRFT) of the People's Republic of China in the presence of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, and the Chinese President Mr. Xi Jinping at the Hyderabad House, New Delhi on Sept. 18, 2014.
