'Bible artist' Suh featured at Ceramics Monthly

Ceramic artist and professor emeritus of Konkuk University Suh Dong-hee's works are featured in the October issue of the Ceramics Monthly, one of the world's most widely circulated ceramics magazines.
Suh's ceramic sculpture "Ruth," depicting the Biblical character in an abstract way, was featured at the Exposure section of the magazine introducing her special exhibition at the Bible House of Ceramic Art in eastern Seoul.
Also on display at the exhibit are Suh's earthenware sculptures "Boaz" and "Talk with Moses and Elijah."
Suh is listed in the Marquis Who's Who, the directory of biographies of people who have notable achievements, and received the Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in June in recognition of her lifelong effort dedicated in developing ceramic sculpting techniques and interpreting Biblical tales.
Studied at Seoul National University and University of Kansas, Suh pioneered a new field in abstract ceramic sculpting, based on the Bible.
