Which 'Crazy Rich Asians' star are you, according to the Chinese zodiac?

Based on Kevin Kwan's 2013 novel, "Crazy Rich Asians" was a huge box office success on its release in 2018.
A major moment for Asian representation in Hollywood, the film made stars out of a number of its cast, including Malaysian-born actor Henry Golding and his comic foil, Hong Kong-born comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
Just in time for Lunar New Year, we look back at the most memorable characters through the lens of the Chinese zodiac. Which character are you most like?

Chris' spirited, playful partner and future wife-to-be, Araminta, is a quintessential Horse: popular, cheerful and full of life. They dislike being controlled by others but make a powerful match for the wilful Dragon.

Though we don't see much of Astrid's husband Michael in the film, what we do see shows him to be pretty weak-willed at best.
Sheep signs can make loving partners, especially to the gentle Rabbit, but these timid and sentimental creatures often fall victim to their own insecurities.
Oliver T'sien (Nico Santos): Monkey

It's a universal truth that every girl needs a gay best friend, and everybody deserves a Monkey in their lives, too. These often fun and sociable signs love to solve problems, especially for those around them, and tend to be really good at it, too.

Nick Young (Henry Golding): Rooster
OK, so maybe Nick, played by Henry Golding, isn't as outwardly ostentatious as some Roosters, but this natural social butterfly truly has it all: wealth, good looks and a charming personality. It helps that Roosters and Oxen make a decent match, too.
Goh Peik Lin (Awkwafina): Dog

Loyal and honest to the end, Peik Lin is Rachel's ride-or-die best friend from college. And just like others who share this sign, she's endlessly protective and dependable, from providing Rachel with a brand-new wardrobe to taking care of her at her lowest point.
Bernard Tai (Jimmy O. Yang): Pig

Of all the zodiac signs, Pigs may be the most overindulgent. Perennial bachelor and party boy Bernard falls into this category, with his crazy antics providing some much-needed comic relief against the backdrop of family drama.
Goh Wye Mun (Ken Jeong): Rat

Say what you will about Rats, but they know how to get what they want. They have a reputation for being sneaky and power-hungry, but you can also read that as witty and resourceful. Peik Lin's clever, fast-talking father, played by Ken Jeong, fits the bill perfectly.
Rachel Chu (Constance Wu): Ox

Hard-working and ambitious, the Ox fits Rachel's personality as a first-generation immigrant's daughter who worked her way up to become an economics professor at New York University. Can you blame her for giving her all in her career and relationships?
Eleanor Young (Michelle Yeoh): Tiger

It's only fitting that the quintessential tiger mum, Eleanor, would be a Tiger in sign too. This sign is known for its brave, charming and natural leaders, though they can be arrogant, too. Sound familiar? Actress Michelle Yeoh also happens to be a Tiger IRL.
Astrid Leong-Teo (Gemma Chan): Rabbit

Polite, thoughtful, creative and compassionate like many Rabbits, Astrid, played by Gemma Chan, tends to be on the quiet side. This sign is known for keeping the peace, though this can lead some to shun any conflict whatsoever - something we see in Astrid's story.
Colin Khoo (Chris Pang): Dragon

As you would imagine, this sign tends to be one of the most intense. Nick's childhood best friend Chris has all the aura of a Dragon combined with good looks, great wealth and great fortune, too. Not all signs are intimidated by them, though, and Dragons make a great match for Horses.
Edison "Eddie" Cheng (Ronny Chieng): Snake

Nick's cunning and ruthless cousin, Eddie, has the classic qualities of a Snake. Though secretive and suspicious of Nick's girlfriend, Rachel, he's also portrayed as strategic and influential, especially with family photos! Optimal angles, everyone ...
