Soyeon Shows Flu Symptoms

Soyeon, a member of the girl band T-ara, showed symptoms of influenza A (H1N1) Wednesday and was taken to a Seoul hospital for treatment, Core Contents Media, her agency, said Thursday.

Soyeon, 23, visited KBS TV to play a cameo role in a drama where her co-member Jiyeon is appearing but she suffered high fever and vomiting during the shooting.

An official of the agency said, ``Soyeon took tamiflu after a doctor suspected her of coming down with the new flu. The correct diagnosis result will come out Friday morning. The group's activities could change depending on the result.''

The nine-member group made its debut last year and attracted the spotlight with ``Bo Peep Bo Peep.'' More recently, it is flexing its muscle with ``Like the First Time,'' the title song of its first album.

Last week, actress Hwang Jeong-eum was diagnosed with the influenza A (H1N1) virus.

6인조 걸그룹 티아라의 소연이 신종플루 의심 증세를 보여 병원으로 이송됐다.

티아라 소속사인 코어콘텐츠미디어는 소연이 동료 멤버 지연이 출연 중인 KBS 2TV 월화 미니시리즈 '공부의 신' 에 카메오 출연을 하기 위해 현장을 찾았다가 촬영 도중 고열이 나고 구토를 해 병원으로 옮겨졌다고 밝혔다.

소속사의 한 관계자는 "병원 측에서는 신종플루가 의심된다며 소연에게 우선 타미플루를 처방했다. 신종플루에 걸렸는지 여부는 29일 나올 것"이라며 "소연의 신종플루 확진 결과에 따라 티아라의 향후 스케줄도 조정될 것"이라고 말했다.

지난해 데뷔한 티아라는 인기몰이를 했던 '보 핍 보 핍'에 이어 정규 1집 타이틀곡 '처음처럼'으로 맹활약 중이다.

지난주에는 연기자 황정음이 신종플루 확진 판정을 받았다.
