Susan Boyle Outsells Jackson

Singing sensation Susan Boyle is climbing the steps fast on becoming the best album of the year.

According to the OK magazine in the United Kingdom, Susan's debut album, "I Dreamed A Dream" has outsold pop king Michael Jackson's collection of hits in the US.

Her album hit 2.3 million sales in the U.S. and she now has her sights on taking over country-pop star Taylor Swift whose album "Fearless"has sold 2.7 million copies.

A U.S. chart forecaster said, "Susan is on the crest of a phenomenal sweep. Her album has been available only weeks and is already closing in fast on Taylor's CD which has been available all year. There is very little doubt that "I Dreamed A Dream" will end up as 2009's top seller."

She sold six million CDs and has raced to the top of the charts in both Australia and Japan.

일약 스타덤에 오른 영국 가수 수잔 보일의 앨범 판매가 욱일승천의 기세로 오르고 있다.

영국 연예지 '오케이(OK)'는 보일의 데뷔 앨범인 "I Dreamed A Dream"이 팝의 황제 마이클 잭슨의 유작 앨범 판매량을 눌렀다고 보도했다.

미국에서 230만장이 팔린 그녀의 앨범은 270만장을 판매한 컨트리 팝스타 테일러 스위프트의 앨범 판매량도 뛰어 넘을 수 있을 것으로 점쳐지고 있다.

미국의 한 음반 관계자는 "보일의 열풍이 엄청나다. 앨범 발매일이 몇주도 되지 않은 수잔 보일이 1년 내내 새 앨범을 선보인 테일러 스위프트의 앨범 판매량을 따라잡고 있다''면서 ```I Dreamed A Dream'이 2009년 최고의 판매량을 기록한 앨범으로 봐도 무방하다"고 말했다.

그녀의 앨범은 호주와 일본에서 총 600만장이 팔리는 등 최고 수준을 유지하고 있다.
