N. Korea ceremonial head set to arrive in China

North Korean ceremonial head of state Kim Yong-nam is set to arrive in China Tuesday on his way to Venezuela to attend a summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, a diplomatic source said.

Kim is expected to depart from Pyongyang and make a stopover at the Chinese capital before heading to the South American country for the gathering of nonaligned nations that will run from Tuesday through Sunday, according to the source.

The move comes as North Korea conducted its fifth and most powerful nuclear test to date on Friday, eight months after its fourth nuclear test. (Yonhap)
