EU envoy joins International Customs Day celebration

International Customs Day, proposed by Korea to the World Customs Organization (WCO) in 1981, is observed every Jan. 26 ― the founding day of the WCO. It recognizes the role of customs officials and agencies and tackles their working conditions and challenges. The 2020 celebration in Seoul attracted 19 ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corps from 51 countries. / Yonhap
