French fashion inspires Korea

France, home to the most creative and influential fashion houses, has sought more usiness opportunities in Korea.

Organized by Business France, the Collection Francaise 2016 involved representatives from 13 fashion brands — including La mome bijou, Maison Ernest, Charles Jourdan, Twins for Peace and Caresse D’orylag — at the InterContinental Seoul Coex hotel in southern Seoul, March 10-11.

They showcased the Fall/Winter collection 2016 and 2017.

“French fashion and design has continuously worked on innovation and creativity while keeping tradition,” said Oh Hyun-sook, commercial attache at the French embassy.

Collection Francaise 2016 is part of events marking the 130th anniversary of Korea-France bilateral relations.

Business France is a national agency supporting the international development of the French economy. The organization is responsible for fostering exports growth by French businesses, as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France.

It promotes French companies, business image and nationwide attractiveness as an investment location, and also runs the VIE international internship program.
