Japanese Dance Performance

Students of the Japanese traditional dance and music classes offered by the Japanese Embassy will make a final presentation for the general public at the Japanese Cultural and Information Center on March 12.

Hanayagi Syunto and Imafuji Damami, professional dancers who also teach the dance classes, will give performances as well.

The embassy offers music and dance classes every year for Koreans who are interested, and they are now open for new student registration.

Irish Embassy in New Location

The Irish Embassy moved into a new building in Suseong-dong from Namchang-dong in Seoul.

The embassy said all contact information, including phone numbers, will remain the same and it will be open normal hours today.

Italian Genius Now

The Italian Embassy in Korea and the Italian Cultural Institute will hold an exhibition, ``Italian Genius Now,'' from March 10 through March 31 at the Korea Design Center in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

The exhibition features the most relevant masterpieces from the Center for Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci in Italy in the fields of design architecture, fashion and industrial products.

Along the same lines, the exhibition will also showcase works by Corrandino D'Ascanio, an Italian aeronautical engineer; Lucio Fontana, a painter and sculptor; Gio Ponti, an Italian architect; and Bruno Munari, an Italian designer.

Czech Music Camp

The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Korea invites young Koreans to the Czech Music Camp for Youth that will take place in Horni Jeleni, a town in the Czech Republic from July 31 to Aug. 16.

More than 220 students, 8-19 years old, will participate in the camp, which promotes the idea of international understanding through the universal language of music.
