Park Hyung-sik, Han So-hee to star in new romance series 'Soundtrack #1'

Singer-actor Park Hyung-sik and actress Han So-hee are set to star in a new romance series, tentatively titled “Soundtrack #1,” according to music streaming platform NHN Bugs Monday.
“Soundtrack #1” is the first part of a new project by NHN Bugs and its partners including video production company Red Nine Pictures. The project intends to produce music dramas that feature a range of musical elements.
“Soundtrack #1,” which is scheduled to premiere next year, revolves around two old friends who happen to live together for two weeks. As they spend time together in the same home, they move gradually from friends to lovers.
Park is going to play Han Sun-woo, a reserved yet warm-hearted photographer. Han will play opposite Park, taking the role of a lyricist named Lee Eun-soo, a humorous and outspoken woman.
Director Kim Hee-won, who led popular tvN series “Vincenzo” (2021) and “The Crowned Clown” (2019), will take the helm of the upcoming four-episode drama.
“Acclaimed director, actors and singers will join the Soundtrack #1 project and make it an unprecedented series,” a Bugs official said. “Bugs will continue to team up with different partners and make invest in creating our original content.”
Park Hyung-sik debuted as a member of K-pop boy band ZE:A in 2010 with the EP, “Nativity.” He began pursuing an acting career in 2012 and has starred in numerous soap operas including, “Strong Girl Bong-soon” (2017). He is currently appearing on tvN's “Happiness.”
Han So-hee, whose real name is Lee So-hee, made her acting debut in the 2017 drama, “Reunited Worlds” and was catapulted to fame after appearing on JTBC's “The World of the Married” (2020). She recently took the lead role in the Netflix-produced “My Name” (2021).
