TvN's “Start-up,” one of this year's most anticipated series, finally took off Sunday with a 4.5 percent viewership rating.

The series, starring Bae Suzy and Nam Ju-hyuk, unfolds stories of young entrepreneurs ― Do-san (Nam), Dal-mi (Bae), Ji-pyung (Kim Seon-ho), and In-jae (Kang Han-na) ― envisioning running a successful business.

The first episode followed the backgrounds of each character, showing the conflict between Dal-mi and her estranged sister In-jae, who left their dad for a wealthy stepfather after the parents' divorce.

The show is Bae's third work with screenwriter Park Hye-ryun since KBS's “Dream High” (2011) and SBS's “While You Were Sleeping” (2017). It is directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who is best known as the producer of “Hotel Del Luna.”

The series is also available on Netflix.
