Actor Hong Jong-hyun to start military service

Actor Hong Jong-hyun, who started his career as a model in 2007, will begin mandatory military service on Dec. 2.
He was to enter the boot camp in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, Monday.
He debuted as an actor in 2008 and appeared in 2010 SBS drama “Oh! My Lady” in which Korean actress Chae-rim and Choi Si-won from K-pop boy group, Super Junior, played the leading roles.
Hong appeared in the fourth season of MBC reality show “We got married,” paired with Yura from K-pop girl group Girl's Day and gained popularity in 2014. He recently starred in the KBS2 drama “Mother of Mine” which aired from March 23 to Sept. 22.
