The International World Music Festival, hosted by Koomworld Co., Ltd, and organized by Cantara Global, will be revived after 28 years in February, 2017.

The festival has featured high profile singers, such as Yoon Bok-hee, who sang her hit-song “Everyone” there.

Financial platform operator Davinci FNE Co. Ltd. and hallyu entertainment content planner Koomworld signed an agreement, Thursday, to seek 5 billion won ($4.53 million) in crowd funding for the upcoming music festival.

Davinci FNE President Lee Seong-chae, Koomworld President Lee Yang-joo and NGM CLUB Chairman Park Hae-sik participated in the signing ceremony.

Koomworld will use the money raised to produce the festival and will promote it through various media as a marketing strategy to showcase investors, sponsors and advertisers.

The crowd funding investors in the International World Music Festival will receive diverse benefits, including festival tickets, music albums as well as the chance to meet celebrities and participate in fan meetings.

“Through the agreement, I hope K-pop will become more popular abroad and have a bright future,” said Davinci FNE President Lee during the ceremony. “We will corporate with Koomworld to play an active role in marketing as well as providing financial support to develop outstanding hallyu content and vitalize cultural performances.”

Davinci FNE is also planning to cooperate with Koomworld to run a marathon from crowd funding as well as a campaign to support multicultural families and foreign workers in Korea.

Participating in crowd funding for International World Music Festival is available on Davinci FNE’s homepage where information about the event can be found.

Davinci FNE launched its “smart pay” business in 2014 to provide high rates of return and low risk for investors. It operates eight offices across the country.
