The fifth alleged victim of Park Yu-chun’s suspected sexual misdeeds has come forward, dealing a blow to the scandal-ridden K-pop star.
The unidentified woman in her 20s appeared on MBC TV investigative program “PD Notebook” on Tuesday night and claimed the singer tried to rape her in a luxury bar’s bathroom.
“I was dancing to noisy music with people who came to the bar with Park,” she said. “Park asked me to go to the restroom together because he had something to tell me. In the restroom, he tried to put his hands into my clothes. As I resisted, he said, ‘You like me, don’t you?’”
She said the singer was under the influence of alcohol.
The program did not reveal detailed information about the incident, including the date and the bar’s location.
The woman has not yet filed a complaint against Park, but police contacted her on Wednesday to secure a statement.
Meanwhile, Park will be questioned at Gangnam Police Station on Thursday at 10 a.m. over four rape allegations against him. Park has vehemently denied any involvement.
The singer has promised to “leave the K-pop scene forever” should any of the allegations be proven.
