Members of I.O.I, the K-pop girl band from TV audition program “Produce 101” on Mnet, have given new meaning to being a celebrity ― by describing their excrement on a TV show.
Four members, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Chung-ha, Kim So-hye and Lim Na-young, were guests on KBS 2TV’s “Vitamin.” The May 19 episode invited the stars to discuss diseases related to the digestive system.
The members were asked to describe their excrement and comment on what it is like when they go to the bathroom.
Choi showed her excrement with a spot of blood she frequently found in her stool. A doctor on the show diagnosed an anal fissure because stool blood is a common symptom.
Kim So-hye revealed her rather embarrassing secret, saying: “I am sorry for my band members because I tend to fart a lot."
"I try to fart in secret, but I cannot hide it due to the smell,” she added.
Lim confessed they sleep only about four or five hours because of their busy schedule, drawing sympathy from the other guests.
